No extra points for Florida State Rep Susan Goldstein, R-Weston, District 97.
Dan Marino dropped kicked the soccer mom-turned-legislator straight to the curb.
Apparently, the South Florida babe s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d the Marino-Goldstein political relationship just a tat.
Danny don't play that game.
Goldstein-the Witch of Weston-basically used Marino's name and image in her campaign literature-without permission.
"He's never publicly endorsed any political candidate," spokesman Ralph Stringer said. "We thought her ad implied otherwise. They have done things together, but there was no pre-approval of it." (Sun Sentinel, October 20, 2006).
The ad, which portrayed Goldstein as a voice for children with disabilities, said, she "worked with Miami Dolphins legend Dan Marino to pass a legislation that assists developmentally disabled children."
Flag on the play.
Goldstein was forced to pull the radio ad.
Oops.
Looks like she forgot to pull the Marino-Goldstein photo op off her campaign site.

The photo of Susie and her boyzzz pictured on her website offers a real glimpse into the Goldstein campaign coffers.
See that short little guy in the expensive suit, hangin' out with former Florida Education Commissioner Jim Horne, Speaker Allan Bense, Representative, Commissioner Jim Scott and home girl Goldstein?
That's multi-bajillionaire lobbyist Ron Book....remember him? One of the last snake and oil salesman to publicly disclose his earnings? Pitched a lawsuit hissy fit, wailing and beating his chest against the enforcement of the Florida lobbyist public disclosure law?
A federal judge backslapped Book back to the "Land of the Law Even Applies to Me".
Fess up, Ronnie.
Book was paid more than $1 million between January and March to woo lawmakers, by clients such as BellSouth (between $30,000 and $39,999), Florida Power & Light ($50,000) and hurricane-debris contractor AshBritt ($50,000).

And oh yeah.
Welcome to Walmart.
The "supercenter" can't cough up enough dough for employee bennies but sure dug down deep to pay influence-peddler Book between $10,000 and $19,999.
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
Martin Kiar, 29, a Davie Democrat-who sports a huge Jimmy Stewart grin-has Goldstein on the defensive.
Touchdown.
