OT Diary: Wouldn't it be nice if there was a "share" feature??

There are times when a DKos diary hits the target dead on.  

Wouldn't it be nice to "share" these diaries with others, not so Dkos-inclined, with one click?  Like youTube?

This diary by Hunter among others, seems to be such a candidate...  just a suggestion Mr. Webmaster, BANG, click, send it to friend and foe alike with a keystroke.  Am I off my barcalounger here?

    and use the link.  

    But look at youTube.  It's a click.  It comes from youTube.  

    How many lines of code would be needed to do this on Dkos?  Just a suggestion.

    some diaries, like Hunter's in general, and many others, approach a literary and interneterary quality that should be shared beyond the dkos community...

      Multiple times/week ...

      There are pieces that I have literally sent to over 1000 people ... and others that get targeted to an individual.

      And, since I know quite a few journalists, I often plug specific journalists with stories/items.  Every so often, there is something in the MSM a few days later ...

      That is the joy of multiple Yahoo/GMail/etc email accounts under multiple aliases and names.

      But, it would be nice to have an easy 'click' feature.

  One is, this is pretty thin for a diary.  Comment in an open thread maybe?

  But then, are you suggesting that this would be available for all diaries here?  In which case even the reckless and irresponsible ones could be sent off?  Or would it only be available for some, and if so, which?

    I debated, why not... I don't post that many diaries and I felt this was a good idea.

  diary without the comments - it would be more succinct, and there are definitely some cases where the diary is fine to share but the comments are far more dicey.

•  Try Google Reader

  I've started using Google Reader for reading feeds, including dKos (although I also read the site directly). Google Reader has a "share" function: click "share" and, voila, instant sharing of any page. (See my example here.)

  I'm becoming increasingly more impressed by these "Google" fellows.
