Thanks MSNBC for realizing we are a force

Before I lay me down to sleep.  I am doing the cursory nightly review of blogs after coming back from phone banking for Jim Webb and Andy Hurst Campaigns in Virginia.... (A lot of Yes on Webb - still working on getting Andy's name out - Go Andy!)...I digress

Was noticing something different.  MSNBC is advertised all over the place, on crooks and liars, on dailykos, on Americablog, etc etc etc.  Then on Air America (I listen none stop - It is the best thing since bread) New York Times, etc, etc.

So I guess those crazy leftie moonbat blogs (according to Bill O'Reilly and Fox News) are actually creating some serious political waves and generating some substantial advertising revenue.  

It is quite fun actually to see this stuff shake them up - and it was fun to have a live blog this afternoon with Jim Webb.  (I did have one calling state - Webb Sucks! - it took me back alittle bit - and I responded - Well you just right down there and vote for that big guy Bigot George Allen - he is your first cousin....No I did not say that - I wanted to - but just said thank you for your input)

Anyway thanks MSNBC for seeing that you have a market on the left.

In fact - I think I will actually pay attention to the advertisers on Keith Olbermann tomorrow night.

  What was the word at Webb camp about the ballot name-omission issue? Are they trying to counteract the fact that his last name is omitted from some of the video voting machines through the phone banking?

  What area were you calling? I am hoping to use MoveOn's interface later this week.

  •  I have not heard of an official position

    I believe this was discovered last week - the name ommission is not on the initial ballot it is during the vote confirmation page.

      ... that after the voter marks his ballot and goes to the confirmation page, he may be confused by what he sees there. Most will see that it's Jim's name, but others may want to be completely certain. This is going to cause confusion at the polls.

  and lately they lose half of that audience when Scarborough checks in. So I am not surprise. But if they really want to court us, they'll fire Carlson, the blond bimbos with the GOP talking points and crazy uncle Pat Buchanan.

  to ckick their ads often.  Naturally I click on Olbermann.  Maybe they are looking at who gets the most clicks?  Hope so.

  For Olbermann not getting in trouble for his courage in standing up to Dubya, and in general for perhaps MSNBC becoming fair overall, or even moving to lean a little to the left.
