Although
Chief Justice Deborah Poritz retires tomorrow,
the law permitted the Court to announce its decision even later.
I don't have time to opine at length for myself, but wanted to get this out there because it's brand new and "breaking." (Refuse to put that in my title.) Consider this a heads-up and invitation to a dialogue -- substantive or tactical. On the latter point, what effect will/could this have on the close races next month? What do we need to be ready for from the GOP -- and can we be ready?
