Buon Giorno from Italy today...
A quick summary of US msm news tells me all I need to know- Bush spying on his own people, the Patriot Act struggling, McCain winning what should have never been a fight, but winning nonetheless.
The BBC gets it right, headline-wise (Bush backs down...)
http://news.bbc.co.uk/...
but given the recent American coverage, I have to ask...is the msm finally growing a spine, or just catching up the American public? I'm in Europe for another six weeks, and would love to know what you guru's prognosticate in terms of the media vs. Bush campaign in the next six months. And...is a weakened and demoralized Bush a good thing for the next 3 years? Could I get some objective views on that? Emotionally, I know how I feel, but wondering what the experts (Kos, Armando, Plutonium, et al) are thinking.
The US story over much of Europe - the Poles are taking the ledes today - is still the CIA torture flights.
