Government: Stealing 2.5 million Farm acres for War planning

I am trying to help spread the word on the latest actions of our government.
I read this article and it outraged me so. Why is our government taking such valuable land and why do they need so much more-especially after announcing the closures of so many already EXISTING bases?
Who and what is being built on these lands? They do not need so much land and surely should not be abusing rights and such valuable resources for food if they did need some land.

Southeastern Colorado is being invaded by the US ARMY just as Iraq and Afghanistan were invaded.
In 1973 the Army Corp of Engineers condemned 234,000 acres of productive farm and ranch land and created the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site (a offshoot of Fort Carson located 150 miles north west outside of Colorado Springs.
April 1st 2006 it was brought to light that the Army was considering another 'land grab' and is now looking to takeover an additional 418,000 acres of (again) productive ranchland ripping 400 ranchers off lands their families have owned for generations (some going back to Spanish Land Grants). THIS IS THE LARGEST LAND GRAB BY THE GOVERNMENT SINCE THE INDIAN TAKEOVER.
Time is running short in our outmanned/outgunned fight and we are looking for support from coalitions who believe our government is out of control.
The reasons the ARmy gives for needing additional land for training are needing to train additional troops not only for the Global War On Terror, but for a possible ground war on China! A"Defunct" Military map from the Department of Defense shows the Army looking to
eventually take over 2.5 MILLION ACRES in Southeastern Colorado. From the Kansas border to Inerstate 25 (from East to West) and from Highway 10 to the New Mexico border (from North to South). This is unconscionable waste of land that produces food for America and abroad
to make more war is criminal. Please look into the matter and let your subscribers and readers know what the government is doing to the few left in this country who provide a needed service. We can't let them get away with taking more Agricultural land."
