These are books every progressive should pass around the xmas tree. George Lakoff introduced the progressive community to framing, but there are many books with far more detailed information in them. Some of these books are cutting edge cog science and linguistic research beyond what Lakoff introduces you to.
Framing is like the paintbrush, the world is the canvas, and memetics are the paint. So it's time for us to do some holiday research and enhance our knowledge of how language really works in politics.
