I hope that folks have not written off the prospect of retiring Virgil Goode from his less-than-stellar career in the House. Diarist Gordie
over at RaisingKaine has posted a review of poll numbers that suggests that the numbers are all over the map; anything could happen, but things look like they are moving in the right direction. I do hope that every single Kossack in the 5th CD will be phone-banking or knocking on doors this week if feasible.
Here I offer two modest ideas to help things along.
First, I wonder if anyone would care to do a bit of Google-bombing of Virgil. A suggestion that was made over at the
Virginia statesroots project is to use this article:
http://www.roanoke.com/...
Linking Virgil's name to it, as:
Virgil Goode
in every post made by every local Kossack (here and elsewhere) might stand a chance of putting that article high on the search results.
Second, if we email the following link to everyone we know who is going to vote for Virgil because he's familiar and affable, maybe it will sow some seeds of doubt:

Meanwhile -- GOTV! Cheers.
