OH-02: Mean Jean Not Good For The House

Its been said before, but its just as true today: "Since I was a kid, I've always wondered what the Witch of the East looked like, and now with Jean Schmidt, I've finally found out!"  

Anyway, we live in the Cincy metro area, so we've gotten to see Jean Schmidt on TV more often than most during her reign of terror.  And now during the campaign we probably get to see her at least once daily. Let me tell you, still pictures do not do her "justice".  The truth is actually much worse.

I know there's more substantial things to discuss, and serious reasons to want to defeat every and all GOP this election, but in addition to that, she seriously creeps us out, and furthermore, what is up with all these Repubs who look like they're from some macabre creepshow.  In just the Cincinnati area there's Mike DeWine, Geoff Davis, and Schmidt, all of whom look like somewhat like impish allies of the Sith (I say allies, because they aren't powerful enough to really be Sith, just wannabes.  It makes one wonder: Could GOPism really be evil (in the spiritual sense of the word, not just political), and that it affects them physically?

  a bit of humour is good for all of us. A good laugh is a great cure for the "outrage fatigue" that so many of us have experienced for the last six years.

  hits the nail on the head.  And its good to get rid of "outrage fatigue", because I think that's the GOP's last hope--that we all get tired.  They certainly get less shit on each individual issue than they would otherwise just because there's some many other things they've done.
