I know, that's a stupid question, but the sports news today is dominated with the
results
of a survey conducted by Golf Digest and Golf For Women magazines that asked its readers the following question:
You have the opportunity to play Augusta National, but in exchange you will have to abstain from sex for one year. Do you accept the tee time?
The surprising result is that 32% of men and 31% of women chose the tee time. I don't play golf so I don't understand what's fully involved here --- but it appears that the respondents are saying that they are willing to abstain from sex for one year to play 18 holes of golf.
If about 1/3rd of Americans who are avid golfers are willing to make a major sacrifice for their hobby, what percentage of Americans would be willing to give up sex for something really important, such as to end a war? Well, that's where you come in. I have included a poll for you to make your statement on this issue. And, to further show the sacrifice that Kossacks are willing to make, I am separating the poll into groups that demonstrate that a true sacrifice is being made. That is, it could be that 1/3rd of the golfers who said they were willing to abstain from sex were not having sex anyway. That would mean that they were not making any sacrifice at all!
