Don Sherwood will be on WYOU (CBS 22) this evening from 5-6:30 and Chris will be on tomorrow night from 5-5:30.  WYOU News is interactive, taking calls and emails from viewers for the guests.

Please calls during the interviews or send emails beforehand.  The call-in number is 570-706-7422 and the email is interactive@wyou.com.

More bellow the fold...

Obviously we would want hard questions to Sherwood and softballs to Chris.  A few topics for Sherwood would be his own lack of values, votes on pay raises for himself, cuts for veterans health care and student loans, Iraq and the corruption in Washington.  A few topics for Chris would be health care, energy independence, values, and his military service.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

Don Sherwood, if you campaign on family values, it helps if you have some.

....and ask that the questions to both Sherwood and Carney come from those living in the 10th CD.

Carney all but has this race wrapped up. The last thing he needs is to have Sherwood try and use DK as some sort of "Bogeyman" to distort Carney's record or politcal alliances.

Please know that this isn't a shot against the DK community. It's just that there are times and places when a local candidate can stand on his own.

Chris's campaign manager asked me to get the word out on Kos - but I will pass along your comment - most likely he will read this anyway later today but he is traveling right now. Are you from PA-10? This is a way to reach out to the grass roots.

      •  No (0+ / 0-)

I'm from PA-19, but have been watching PA-10 closely.

I agree this is a way to reach out to the local grass roots.

But it could also bite you in the arse if the local TV station announces that they were flooded with e-mails from liberals throughout the country supporting a moderate Democratic candidate in a conservative district.

Sherwood has shot himself in the foot and Carney has run a great campaign. No need to bring in the troops from outside the district when you guys have everything under control from within.

        Best of luck next Tuesday!
