Alright folks, so we're now one week into the Google Bomb project and we've been seeing a lot of great movement with the bulk of these articles. However, there are a handful that just haven't been moving for us, so last night I sat down and, using the guidelines that I have put together from my own observations and from the immeasurably valuable comments that have been received in these update threads, have replaced some of the links with ones that look like they'll be more productive for us.
I haven't been able to fix everything. And these articles aren't necessarily the most damning in the world. Some of them are already pretty close to the top. But they're solid, and better than the ones that aren't working very well. If you want to update what you have on your personal blog, please feel free to go for it. If you want to edit your sig line, go for that too. If you want to run around old diaries posting them over and over, have at it.
We aren't going to expand the field at this point primarily because, perhaps unfairly, I'm really tired and I don't want to chase after another three dozen candidates. But to be clear, it has nothing to do with there not being other Republicans who deserve it or with other Democrats running great races. Next time, it'll be much bigger. For now, we're sticking to a focused field.
So run with these links, hopefully it'll make a difference yet again. I'm constantly impressed with how much the blogosphere can accomplish when it gets mobilized and focused, so let's do it yet again.

And as you can see in the most recent update, this thing is really working quite well. There are actually a couple articles that have catapulted up towards the top for me in the matter of hours between writing my update yesterday in the morning and researching these new articles late last night. This is absolutely having an effect.
