I love this country.
You can feel the excitement in the air, on-line, on the streets. This is the most important mid-term elections of a generation, and we are about to Take Our Country Back!
Check out my interview yesterday morning on Fox Charlotte. That was fun. Hey to Wilson.
Very different from Robin Hayes' interview on the same show when he said he hadn't made a mistake in 8 years.
We'll he's made one now by smearing my good name...

BISCOE, NC (come see us!) - After two weeks of non-stop, negative campaigning from textile magnate Robin Hayes, the embattled multi-millionaire learns today from on-going independent polling that folks in the 8th District aren't impressed with his nasty attacks on former mill worker Larry Kissell.
"Congressman Hayes needs to remember that this isn't the way we do things in the 8th District. The people of our district aren't going to be manipulated by his nasty, baseless campaign. It really is disappointing. That's not the Robin Hayes we sent to Washington to represent us, which is why I'm running strong," said Kissell.
Hayes has predominantly run an air assault on Kissell's momentous ground war, spending millions on TV emphasizing outrageous distortions of Kissell's actual positions. Kissell, a school teacher, has been creative with his modest funds, emphasizing grassroots, innovative events and door-to-door campaigning. His mobilization effort of over 800 volunteers in one day last month earned him recognition and fundraising from the national Democratic party, which just targeted the 8th District as going "Red-to-Blue" on Friday.
"Evidently our early ground game provides just the defense we need in this final week. It's going to be hard for Mr. Hayes to deceive enough voters by the election to be successful, because the voters know better. Larry Kissell has been knocking on the 8th District's door for a year," said Kissell spokesman Steve Hudson.
The most recent independent polling was conducted by Washington-based Majority Watch, a project by bi-partisan RT Strategies/Constituent Dynamics.
And that's a lead promisingly confirmed by yesterday's Elon Poll showing folks prefer the Democrat in this race.
But we must maintain our lead, and I need your continued support to do just that.
I talked to you briefly this Sunday about the ground war for North Carolina's 8th. And last night, our chatty friend Open Thread showed you the ground war Vlog.
As I've said before, we'd love to have you. Come on to Biscoe and join the fun, as hundreds if not thousands already have. And that's the beauty of grassroots.
The response to our campaign has simply been so overwhelming, so inspiring, we can't afford to let up now. I've called on the netroots, my ever-ready "Minutemen" repeatedly in this campaign, and you've always been there for me. For that, I thank you with all my heart.
Now in this final week, I'm calling in the Air Force.
Whether it's been $88.94 or $35.33 at the time, thousands and thousands and thousands more of you have put me on the air, gotten our message out, and made this race as competitive and winnable as it was drawn to be.
With your help, we've raised and spent over a half million so far, mostly in small donations going right on the air the next day, and it's working.
Now I'm calling in the air force to clean up the record. Help me SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT.
If you've got an extra $35.33 or $88.94 laying around you'd like to invest in Democracy's great rally in this final week, I'd be honored to put it on TV for you.
I need you! This is how we take our country back.
