YouTube - Why we support Roger Sharpe
What a stink! More after the flip.
Right out of the gate, Foxx starts off with lying about the war.
"The war is tough, there's no question about it. But these people came and attacked us," she said.
She visited Iraq for a few hours this past year and came back and reported that all was well in Baghdad. Well, that was obviously bullshit. That has been her standard method of attack - lie your ass off and hope that no one challenges you. If they do, avoid taking responsibility for what you said and blame the miscommunication on the Winston-Salem Journal and us commie-pinko bloggers.
Outside the studio building, meanwhile, a group of Sharpe supporters brandished straw brooms and waved signs that read "Let's Clean House."
Foxx continued to support her position on denying Katrina victims federal aid and Roger Sharpe beat that nonsense down.
Sharpe fired back, asking why Foxx was strict with the handling of Katrina money when taxpayer money went to no-bid contracts in Iraq.
"Her vote against the victims of Katrina did not represent the values of our people in Northwest North Carolina. I think you were advised wrongly on that," Sharpe said.
Paraphrasing, local talk radio station 101.1 WZTK's Brad Krantz said of the dabate, "they dragged here in there, they had to drag her in by her hair."
Yeah, Foxx ain't big on taking responsibility for her actions. Not a lick.
