This is it folks.
This election is one of the most important in the history of our country. Will we go down the same, crazy path, or will we see change in America? It is all up to us, the voters, and a little bit of good old fashioned luck.
All this time we have prepared for the momentous day of November the Seventh, the day where our hard work out on the blogs would pay off. And it very well may.
Before I became interested in national politics, I really knew very little about networking on the internet. Not only has politics brought me closer to my country, but it has brought me closer to fellow Americans who share my same passion for technology and using that technology wisely.
It sounds somewhat dramatic, but the future of America depends on this election (and the next one). We have worked EXTREMELY hard to get to this point, and if we pull it out we will have changed the course of our great nation for the better. This is monumental.
Tomorrow night will be the day that all of the candidates, the scandals, the ads, the drama, the money, and the voters are put to the test. If we, the people, fulfill the goals of our founding fathers, if we make them proud, we will have succeeded.
I want to thank all of the people here at Daily Kos for showing me something I couldn't have found anywhere else. I never thought that just about anyone with a computer could help change the fate of a nation. But yet we can. When you go to the polls tomorrow, think of the rights you have been given, and think of how you are voting to protect them. Make yourself happy.
Thank you to the people who have pushed for Ned, Jon Tester, and the countless other respected candidates running for office.
Thank you for not backing down when Lieberman accused the netroots of taking down his site.
Thank you for taking the insults from the right and not giving up.
Thank you so much for all you have shown me.
God Bless America.
