After a few scary days of seeing Bush's poll numbers on the upswing by Rasmussen (up to 45% yesterday), today Rasmussen has him dropping back down (to 43%). Here's the link:

Perhaps Bush's poll numbers were temporarily inflated over the past few days with all of that pro-GOP and anti-Democratic robo-polling, combined with the massive spending by Republicans in key areas over the past few days?
To me, this, combined with the most recent polls, seems to be evidence that, after having taken a second look at Republicans while flirting with Democrats for so long, the Republicans' so-called "momentum" was short-lived.
It appears that Bush's popularity is, yet again, on the wane.
(P.S. Rasmussen almost always has Bush's popularity much higher than other pollsters).
One more piece of good news for Democrats going into tonight's election returns.
