As you know, we vote by mail here in Oregon, which allows the Secretary of State's office to track voter turnout on a daily basis.
Each day, visits can be made to the Sec'y of States website to check out the cumulative result of votes being turned in. Go to this website to check for yourself: www.sos.state.or.us
The big news is that out of 2 million registered voters, over 1 million have voted by close of business YESTERDAY. This, folks, is record turnout since vote-by-mail began several years ago, at least for a midterm election.
This news, coupled with the fact that 1/5 of Oregon voters actually drive their ballots to a drop off location on election day itself (read: another 400,000 votes coming in TODAY ALONE) means record turnout -- which only benefits the Dems!
