In several speeches while on the campaign trail, Bush said the Democrats were busy planning which offices they thought they were going to get when they won and what color the drapes should be.
Today after saying he had called Pelosi, he said, "I shared with her the names of some Republican interior decorators who can help her pick out the new drapes in her new office."
First, Mr. President, Democrats would use `interior designers' not unlicensed interior decorators.
Second, Mr. President, Democrats us `window coverings' not department store `drapes'.
Third, Mr. President, I sincerely doubt that Ms. Pelosi, a woman who bore and raised five children. Then entered politics to rise as far as she has, needs the advise of someone who's hobby is clearing brush and bike riding on her office decor.
However, your frequent remarks on your oval office rug, comments on the choice of clothing worn by White house news people and now drapes, makes me wonder about you.
Just who was it that Ted Haggard met with when he came to the White house? Were you alone in the oval office?
