I'm wonderinng, since I'm not from LA. Maxine Waters filed an opposition with the FCC to Tribune's request to own both KTLA TV and the LA Times.
One of Tribune's defenses is that KTLA now shows 7.5 more hours of local news than before the merger with the Times. So they say, look media concentration is good!
Wondering--is this just an hour a day of repeating the same news? Can anyone tell me KTLA's news programming, if it is just repetitive?
Would be helpful to figure this out, if you could post your LA knowledge...
