Many times I've often accused the American people of being simple-minded and worse, stupid. For the past two weeks, however, I've been proven dead wrong.
Let's start with November 7. The American people spoke not in support for the Democratic party and its policies, but, against the Republican party's ideals and principles that were sending this country into a catastrophic direction.
We had just about enough of the Republican Revolution and its 12 years of pathetic governing. Collectively, we kicked the son of bitches to the curb and sent them into obscurity.
Fast Forward to this week, when Rupert Murdoch, the head of Newscorp decided to pull the plug on the proposed O.J. Simpson book and interview that would've allowed Simpson to speculate on how he would've butchered his ex-wife and her friend, Ron Goldman.
Mr. Murdoch and Judith Regan have no soul. No Conscience. They spearheaded this disgusting project in order to make a quick buck and to continue on the "dumbing down" of America path that they've perfected to a tee.
The American people spoke and Rupert, decided that no blood money nor high ratings could topple the voice of Common Sense in this country.
Of course, Mr. Murdoch apologized for his disgusting project. But, now, it's time for one of his biggest stars to do the same.
You see, in Bill O'Reilly's, self-serving, egotistical mind, he's the man personally responsible for the demise of the Simpson project.
Calling into his own show, while on vacation, the falafel man told Laura "criminal" Ingraham, that the Simpson cancellation was a "victory for the folks" in the epic battle of the civilization-threatening "culture wars." He also declared that once he arrives back from vacation, he will list the enemies of Fox news who try to spin this as anything other than a brazen act of Fox news Independence.
Bill, no matter how much you SPIN the fact that FOX news had nothing to do with O.J.'s interview and book deal, it doesn't disqualify the facts. And, like reality, we all know that facts has a liberal bias.
The FOX news channel promoted the hell out of this garbage. Between the week of Nov 15-20, FOX news promoted the Simpson special 417 times. 100 times on Nov 17.
You also claim that FOX Broadcasting has nothing to do with FOX news.
Huh?
Both entities have the same chairman (Roger Ailes) same owner (Rupert Murdoch) and FOX Broadcasting regularly airs FOX news content.
Furthermore, you claim that this is a victory for those in the epic stuggle of the civilization-threatening culture wars.
And, sir, this is where the apology should come in.
You have claimed both on TV and in print that the Secular-Progressive movement in this country are the direct cause of the moral and cultural decay. You've also whine and bleat the notion that a Liberal jihad's mission is to promote terrorism and defeat for President Bush.
You, Mr. O'Reilly, owe, not only Liberals an apology, but, Americans.
To bypass the tactics of your own network, so you can continue this scam as America's "Culture warrior" is absolutely disgraceful.
And, for you to smear Liberals, Progressives, and Secularists for the so-called downfall of American Culture, is beyond me.
Your own network, run by Conservatives, have done more to pervert and erode the culture of our country. We've lately been a nation of zombies, due to the pathetic programming of the FOX network.
If it wasn't for common sense, O.J. Simpson's project would've gone through.
You claim that you're responsible for this project not seeing the light of day?
Bill, do you honestly think the American people are that stupid?
Your network's ratings are in virtual downward spiral, because, the country is finally starting to realize how much the FOX network has done to promote the dumbing down of America.
And, you still want to play the "Secularists" are destroying the culture card?
Bill, look in front of the mirror. You, Rupert and all the rest are solely responsible for our culture being in shambles.
We kicked the Republican party to the curb because of their ideals, it's time to do the same to FOX Broadcasting.
Rupert apoglogized for his ill-conceived project that would've generated mass revenue.
Bill, it's time for you to do the same.
