Eric Massa, a veteran running for Congress in New York's 29th Congressional District, will be on Air America's Majority Report. He's been featured in their "Fighting Dems" series, sponsored by the Majority Report and Daily Kos. He'll give us a preview of the "Fighting Dems" event next week in Washington, D.C, sponsored by Band of Brothers, where almost all of over 50 Fighting Dems will gather to hear John Murtha, Max Cleland and others.
So tune in to Majority Report coming up now.
As most of you know, Commander Massa was the force behind the Band of Brothers. He organized seminal events in December and January that led to the foundation of the Band of Brothers 2006 PAC and the involvement of Col. Klass and VetPAC in the movement when his NY-29 staff was stretched thin to handle both his campaign and the movement (kudos Ethan, Kellie and Amy). He also in his nearly weekly live blogs on kos and elsewhere wrote the charter blog posts for the movement.

VetPAC Proudly Presents:
A Salute to Veterans for a Secure America
A landmark PRESS EVENT and FUNDRAISER in support of Democrats who have valiantly served our country and are now running for public office
It is with great pride that there are over fifty American military veterans, who have once again answered this nation's call and are running for Congress as Democrats. Men and women who have proven their abilities as leaders, and have lived their lives with integrity and honor. They have stood watch and fought to protect our way of life. Now they seek to take the fight to Congress and to continue that fight in the halls of our Capitol and to ensure our rights stay protected.
The Veterans' Alliance for Security and Democracy (VETPAC) is committed to helping these men and women achieve success at the polls in November. VETPAC is dedicated to promoting the values for which veterans have served, fought and died. With your help, we can give these courageous men and women of proven leadership and dedication to duty, the resources they need to be elected to Congress and help this country heal and stay strong.
