So we're all aware Tom DeLay has a blog. He put it up, got ridiculed and then pulled his posts and comments abruptly.
The blog then came up again, this time with comments disabled and no posts. Then the comments got turned back on, only this time they require approval of a blog editor working The Hammer's site.
Now, he's got a couple posts up. One channeling Michelle "Internment Camp" Malkin who's scorning Kofi Anann by stating:
Like Kofi Annan knows anything about remaining true to principles? He leaves behind a feckless, corrupted, global bureaucracy incapable of policing the predators in its ranks, unwilling to stand up to evil, and useless in the struggle against terrorism--or any other global threat.
If I had a time machine, I could probably take Michelle's ciation, play a little Orson Wells with it and turn out:
Like George Bush knows anything about remaining true to principles? He leaves behind a feckless, corrupted, national bureaucracy incapable of policing the predators in its ranks, unwilling to stand up to evil, and useless in the struggle against terrorism--or any other global threat.
Let's face it, it's basically the same situation, only closer to home and directly impacting our lives.
But then The Hammer puts up another post, this time attacking Jimmy Carter as "perhaps our nation’s worst President" as if DeLay has any moral authority to question anybody's legacy, considering his own faltered life.
Yet the most hilarious thing to come out of Tom DeLay's blog beside Tom Delay are the comments. I can't comment, but there's definitely a mix in there and I wish I knew how they were doing it. But let's take a look at some of these complete assclowns and what they're saying.
Bravo for Tom DeLay in his fight against moral relativism! In this hour above all we need someone with the integrity to lead us FORWARD not backward, UPWARD not forward, and always turning towards FREEDOM.

And you think Tom DeLay can do this because...of the wonderful example he's already provided with his own display of the qualities of integrity, right?
Mr. Carter was not 1/100th the president you will be, sir.
DELAY IN '08!!!!!
P.S. You should put sarcasm quotes around "book" as well as "write." Rule of thumb: you can't have too many sarcasm quotes, and if you're in doubt, include them.

DeLay in '08? You really think DeLay is mainstream enough to capture not only core conservatives, moderate Republicans, conservative Dems, and Independents? Surely you jest!
Of course, you have the kind of comments that really...you have to ask yourself "Did this person really just say that??"
Jimmy Carter is such a fake! First he "write"s this book. Then he runs this supposed "election monitoring" organization, and he admitted that he can't even monitor elections here in our own country!
All he cares about is money. (emphasis mine!)

Again with the money, but taking it a step forward by insinuating it's all a big conspiracy to employ slave labor to build houses for poor people in the hopes that they'll return the vafor by voting democrat.
Yeah seriously Carter is a HUGE fake and is all about the money. I mean this whole habitat for humanity is a bunch of b.s. What it really is is using slave labor to build houses for the poor so they can vote democratic. Geez Carter only cares about himself!
Carter only caring about himself? I would think that would be a cheering point by conservatives. After all, it is all about the ownership society, right? Personal responsibilty? Self before others? Bah...
Seeing Tom DeLay have a blog is one of the greatest things I think I've witnessed all year long. You've got a guy - one of the most corrupt, unethical political villians on the Republican machine, lecturing about the pillars of society and how they need to be upheld so that we can return to our Constitutional roots. This from a man who, with the help of Jack Abramoff, had very dirty financial dealings that brought about his downfall from power and yet he's got all the answers on how to get the country "back on track?"
If we're lucky, all the super-ultra core conservatives who want to nuke everyone that looks at us funny, smells like curry, or doesn't speak perfect English will all gravitate to Tom's blog, where they will forever remain, reminiscing over Tom's fall from grace, and hopefully remain, to discuss how "they're gonna come back" one day, yet otherwise remain irrelevant among the rest of us.
Very irrelevant...
