Is this the first time we've seen any Democrat (Other than "generic") beating Bush? Either way, it's great that for once we don't have to say that so-and-so is losing to Bush by only X points!
Whether you're for Kerry or not, any Democrat polling ahead of Bush nationally is great news!
I found this on Salon.com:

Kerry leads Bush in new poll
Sen. John Kerry would defeat President Bush if the election were held today, according to a new Newsweek poll. Kerry leads Bush 49-46 in the poll of 1,006 adults, which was taken after the Massachussetts senator's Iowa win and Bush's State of the Union address. The poll also showed Kerry leading among Democrats nationally with 30 percent, John Edwards behind him at 13 percent, and Howard Dean and Wesley Clark tied at 12 percent. And 52 percent of respondents said they don't want to see Bush re-elected.
