This diary is a follow up to this diary:

But don't bother reading the first one it is incorporated into here.
Now Rex Freedom over at the Welsh campaign has been unable to update the oft cited house race list :http://www.barrywelsh.org/...
owing to a very sick family member. My thoughts go out to you Rex (nice non de plume BTW).
Jump below the fold if you have even the vaguest interest in running democrat candidates in 434/435 districts in November (damm you TX 11)!!!!!!!!!!!
If you check the 50 state strategy house list you will see that as 14/1/06 there were 71 unopposed republican congress critters.
1) Well as of now as far as I can tell (guaranteed as at least 24.9% accurate)we have another 10 candidates in house races.

CHUCK REAM?
courtesy of the ann arbor news: "One local Democrat ready to challenge Schwarz, or the eventual primary winner, is Scio Township Trustee Chuck Ream. He's a political activist who directed successful petition drives to legalize medical marijuana in the city of Ann Arbor and stop a county bonding plan for jail expansion after voters trounced a millage request he actively opposed.
Although he has not officially declared his candidacy, Ream said he plans to run on a platform to end the nation's war on drugs and to preserve retirement pensions and benefits for workers facing cuts due to skyrocketing health care costs.
Ream pledged to walk the big district and is prepared to face conservative voters who may not appreciate his stance on preserving entitlement programs and drug decriminalization.
"I'm the candidate without the money who tells the truth,'' he said. "If they don't think they've been lied to (by the other candidates), they won't vote for me.''
Politics one has him confirmed also but nothing on act blue the dccc or fec. michigan Liberal thinks he is in too?
