I am sick of the Sunday news shows BULL SHIT

Did anyone see Chris Matthews Sunday, yesterday.  It was shocking. I wish Pinicus (Washington Post) would send a memo to the Chris Matthews Sunday show because the crew of press people who spoke this past Sunday with Andrea Mitchell running the show, were UNBELIEVABLE.  

They started repeating the meme, straight out of the Rove political  playbook,  that  'democrats who didn't vote to give Bush the power to bomb Iraq will be seen as too weak on Defense to run for President."  How do they get away with this.  

It is December, 2006,  the republican party is in shambles, we're on the verge of world war 3 and these incompetent group of clueless co-conspirators are still pushing this bull shit.  I don't enjoy sounding like I buy into the "tin foil head case, conspiracy theorists.... but isn't it the job of the press to inform the American Public and research and investigate the workings of this country of this government.  What did they give us????  Unopposed propaganda, not only did they refuse to publish those who wrote against it the Bush run up to war in Iraq, they refused to print the voices of the huge group who were opposed to the war, they refused to cover the Peace marches, a million in Washington BEFORE the first bomb was dropped, 800K in Manhattan and tens of thousands around the country, millions of others around the world.... why did John Doe not know about this???  Because the press wouldn't cover it.  Why did so many Americans believe that Sadaam was responsible for 9/11???  Because when this white house was lying to us, the Press went along with them, word for word, never questioning any of it.  They sat there, willing volunteers while the most devious and destructive presidential administration in the history of this country started a war against a sovern nation who had done nothing to harm the American people.

3K American soldiers dead.... (or so they say.)... 600K innocent Iraqi dead, no wonder the press needs to keep this fiction alive or they have to face the fact that they hold some responsibility in this nightmare.  It's time for those in the press who continue to keep this lie alive to find a new career... and for the politicians who try to keep it alive, the same goes for you.  The American people gave the country a message in the last election.  Nothing is going to stop us in the Presidential primaries.. no more dirty politics...  we are sick of it.  BARAK OBAMA.....  I've got the audacity to hope.... to hope you kick some serious ass in 2008!!!

      many moons ago, when Elanor started to agree with Pat and Pat with Elanor. I could not believe it. That has lessened somewhat, but wow, I remember when that started to happen and then though to myself: 'The end of the world is nigh'.

      I watched John and crew shout it out for more than a decade now. Seems like almost 1.5 decades.

  I would imagine it will be more fair after the first of the year but,  It will still have a repub with every Dem.  Chris knows which side his bread is buttered on.  It makes him feel big to drag in the repub queens to spill their sewage on Nat. TV.  If the Dems hold power after 2008 then it might look different.  Meanwhile Keith Olberman is doing great and he speaks the truth.

  The Sunday shows are in existence merely to get politicians on the record. If what they say is complete bullshit, then they have complete bullshit on the record.

  Have you ever seen Cheney on one of these shows? There's never any follow up even when he says "last throes." If they piss Cheney off, he'll never come back.

  I have never watched Matthews, Russert, or other pundit shows, except when egregious statements have been highlighted here. Are there a lot of people watching this to get their political fix? The weekly roundups are practically useless sources of information, other than warmed up regurgitated stuff.

  I wonder how ling before these shows slip into the history books, particularly because of their irrelevance.

  is equivalent to driving around the block for the hell of it-a total waste of time and energy.  I do check online of the cast of current characters, but it never elicits a desire to watch only eye rolls.  And now that the presidential election is upon us, the guests will be as redundant as driving around the block twice, just for the hell of it.

  doesnt mean they dont make a difference.  Yes, they can be mindnumbingly boring but the people that actually make decisions pay a lot more attention to the Sunday talking heads shows than they do to dkos.  You may not like it and we all may want to change it but that is the way it is in December 2006.  So calling bullshit on them is important and in fact can seep back into the "mainstream" debate as we have demonstrated a number of times recently.
