when people used to comment that you were drunk or drugged, i thought it was meanspirited of them.
i don't think that anymore because i've read your posts long enough now to see the black and white difference between one day and the next --- or between 5 in the afternoon and 10, or 8 pm and midnight or ...
and there is something seriously wrong here --- and i don't mean with dkos.
if this were a one time event, it might be different. but it's not. you've been doing this for months, maybe years - you've been doing it for about as long as i've been at dKos, which is years now.
i have to wonder what kind of satisfaction there is to it.
and i'm quite serious when i say you need to get help. if you're willing to do this at dKos, the next step is the world. unless you really want to be remembered as a nasty, bitter old drunk.

in hippie drag
one of the greatest one-liners ever in a movie.
chloe webb was robbed of the oscar -- her nancy spungen was brilliant.
and who can forget:
"blaze of glory, sid..." and "what about the farewell drugs, sid?" and "OK, do you want me to blow you now?"
there are moments in that movie so gorgeous that they almost betray the movie's seedy and tragically violent end. like when sid and nancy are kissing while the score of the movie at this time is an instrumental by the pogues -- "junk" or maybe it was the pray for rain song "garbage kills" i don't recall exactly which one but anyway -- is on screen and then you see the two lovers being showered by garbage... yet alex cox makes the scene seem so beautiful for that brief moment -- and then you realize they're being showered by garbage...
one of my top 20 movies of all time.
