There's a story in today's Washington Post about VIP healthcare. Basically for a fee you get access to the best doctors and hospitals.
I'm curious what the kos community thinks of this type of service. Does this diminish the healthcare services that less fortunate others might recieve? Does it create as someone in the article suggested a third tier of healthcare... those that can afford it, those that can't afford it, and now those that can afford better than everybody else? America is the leader in specialized healthcare and people from the world over travel here for medical treatments... do these services inhance this speciality, or detract from it?
