Huge (and I mean HUGE) turnout. I was at a caucus in rural Cedar County. In 2000, four people showed up to caucus and split 2 and 2 (Bradley and Gore).
Tonight, there were 21 participants, many of them folks who were either first-timers or had come back to the caucus after not attending for 12, 16 or 20 years.

The anti-Bush comments were plentiful and forceful. Their was a consensus that every registered Democrat must participate in the process this go-round to oust Bush.
This kind of suprisingly huge turnout echoed throughout the state. Caucus locations ran out of registration forms. Some of the larger city caucus sites were chaotic due to the huge and unexpected crowds.
That is the best sign for November. Karl Rove, beware. Angry and motivated Democrats ahead.
