I've been waiting for a year now.
First I thought that the SOTU/Yellowfake scandal would do it.
Then I thought the bad economy would
Then I thought that the Plame Affair would.
But in the end, it seems that the Dem primary season has started the avalanche of questioning which will (IMHO) end in a complet change in America's assumptions about Bush
Bush's past misdeeds are linking up and starting to feed off themselves - leading to increased willingness of the media and even Republicans to first criticize and then jump ship.
As I posted earlier, I see the beginning of movement from the basic assumption that:
"Bush is a nice guy who is just folks and should be believed no matter how funny things look"
to
"Bush is incompetent and maybe corrupt and just maybe this is going to hurt us."
The evidence?
People in the media and Government are no longer ignoring what they used to ignore........
