Bilbray caught with three primary residences?

Well, Bilbray's been lying to someone, or it looks like several someones, about his primary residence.  

Is it Alexandria, Virginia, his primary residence for tax purposes?  Is it Imperial Beach, SOUTH of San Diego - where he and his wife both also claim Primary residence, or is it his mother's house in Carlsbad, which would be the only one in CA-50.

According to 10News San Diego Wednesday, the Democratic Party called for an investigation into allegations of perjury and voter fraud against Republican candidate Brian Bilbray. Time for a carpettbagging commercial by Busby?

  aren't there tax implications? What does he put on his tax forms in these three different states? Also, do primary residences get taxed differently from second homes for real estate tax purposes. Or does that only apply when you sell them?

  I will be calling  10News later today to announce my candidacy for CA-50 as a write-in candidate.  Admittedly, my primary residence for the last 8 years has been in IL-12, and I have not been in CA-50 for the last 16 years.  But, I believe I know this district, because my grandparents lived very close to it, and I have always wanted to live in Northern California.

  As I asked on this morning's FP diary, has Bilbray made his 2005 tax returns public? This would be Federal, California, and Virginia if he has filed a VA income tax return. Tax returns are filed with addresses on them. The TV news article also has this statement

  There are also allegations Bilbray’s children testified they lived in Virginia for purposes of paying in-state college tuition there.

  The VA in-state tuition discount is quite large (many thousands of dollars per year per student), and I think there are preferences for in-state students to be admitted.  Since college age students typically have their parents' address, there could be some serious trouble if there is a proved connection to VA in-state tuition discounts.  Bilbray would have to claim that he moved to San Diego only most recently.
