Monday April 05, 2004--Senator John F. Kerry leads President George W. Bush 47% to 45% in the latest Rasmussen Reports Presidential Tracking Poll.
A related survey conducted this weekend found that Americans are less confident about the War on Terror than they have been all year. Just 47% now say the U.S. and its allies are winning.
That's down from 54% right after the Madrid bombings. Thirty percent (30%) now say the terrorists are winning, up from 22% in mid-March.
Despite jobs growth and Kerry disappearing, the WH can't control wall-to-wall TV. Watch the tracking poll to see the effects Iraq is having on the President's numbers.
This is as ugly as it appears.
