"Stay & Lose" Republicans-New Iraq policy Label

Wed Jun 14, 2006 at 08:02:24 AM PDT

I have watched over the spring, the constant drone of labeling democrats as "cut 'n' run" for wanting to leave Iraq. Even if you are in favor of leaving Iraq,  as I am, cut 'n' run sounds bad, and somehow un-American. If you are thinking of voting democratic, and have to defend those words, it is difficult, and might make you less inclined to do so.

I have been trying to think of a phrase to label republican policy with, that has the same type of negative connotation for them.

Stay and Lose Republicans

is the phrase that I have come up with. Americans hate to be lableled losers more than anything else.

It plays double duty, by labeling the policy of "staying the course" as a loser and labels republicans 'losers' at the same time.

If the democrats do not get on some type of offensive move against the republicans on this, we're going to wind up with people voting to keep the republicans, because the democrats can't be trusted with our national security.

Stay and Lose Republicans.
It has a certain ring to it for me.
How about you?

I am very skeptical of Limbaugh back problem ,for person  that claim to have chronic back problem, it do affect his ability to play golf on a regular basis,Another thing about this   drug arrest ,he is under criminal sanction by a criminal court, nobody get too choose  the condition of thier sentences, who would pay million in legal fees and not seek damages for being falsely accused of a crimes ,without seeking compensation,

it has some punch.  I test marketed the "conservatives are 'mommy killers' because of their no exception abortion policy" on my father and he went ballistic.  If anti-fascist forces in the U.S. want to win against these cretinous fools, our labels need to be visceral, like your new one.  Good job.

It's punchy and pointed, easy to remember.  Definitely good branding, and while the Dems are often criticised for not offering an alternative, I believe this draws a clear and accurate distinction between the parties.

Which is why the DNC probably wouldn't be interested.
