The
latest Iowa numbers from Survey USA: (September results in parenthesis)
Gephardt 27 (23)
Dean 22 (23)
Kerry 15 (17)
Clark 11 (8)
Edwards 11 (11)
Lieberman 4 (5)
All movement has stayed within the MoE, but the results have to be encouraging to Gephardt nonetheless.
And yeah, this is a SUSA poll, with its suspect methodology, but their results were respectable in 2002, and in any case, it can be used validly to gauge momentum. Several polls have now shown that Gephardt has been gaining steadily on Dean in Iowa.
