Anyone that saw Kerry on 60 minutes and the media strips of his dissent of the Viet Nam War in the 60's can doubt the mans sincerity; Kerry was on the right side of Iran Contra and a number of liberal causes. I do wonder why it took him so long to openly and vigorously attack Bush and is he a dyed in the wool establishmentarian opportunist. Obviously Kerry's passion is not as visible as some of us would like it; however his demeanor is consistent with those early Viet Nam era tapes. He asked the Senate some pretty damn hard questions and proceeded to get arrested to boot. I'm not clear as to his negatives?
Deans political naïveté and stubbornness continues to give me concern. Dean has yet to elaborate on his tax position. His web page suggests closing tax loop holes will cover everything? Guess we elect a whole new Congress while we're at it and all the lobbyist get tired and go home? Meanwhile the middle class payer looses his measly $300 and hangs on while President Dean whips the Congress into shape. Geez, get real, use some of that bedside manner! It won't and can't be a crash cure! It's going to take a while to fix this economic debacle.
Not happy with the appeasement of Diane Sawyer types, Don't apologize for enthusiasm; put it into context and move on. Humanizing Dean via Judy is great but why did it take a catastrophe to get it done? Judy's a real asset better trot her out often screw worrying about props. Dean spent years in Harlem as a physician, will we ever hear or learn anything about it? Den's obviously got a soft human side, the people he worked with etc. show it! And stop letting the media define him as a privileged New Englander.
Get Back the Fire, regardless ABB
