"Current TV" first anniversary

Tue Aug 01, 2006 at 04:55:03 AM PDT

One year ago, news channel "Current TV" started.  Al Gore is the chairman.

There is a feature called "Google Current" every half-hour where the hosts talk about the internet.  "Google Current"  has interviewed the bloggers from treehugger.com.

I started a thread at the "Current TV" message-board in which I write that "Google Current" should interview Kos.

Here is the thread.

15 yr olds. Although I like to think that I am still that age, and may act like it a lot of the time, Current is not my cup o tea 90% of the time.

  •  video killed the radio star (0+ / 0-)

Hmmm...DVD Killed the Video Star... Get the Buggles on the line, I've got a smashing idea...
Current TV reminds me of the early days of MTV: we could watch for hours and hours nothing but music set to these video stories. It was radio you had to look at! Wow!
Only Current TV seems to me to be a kind of intellectual MTV in that there is something of value and import; not just wasting away drinking Mountain Dew and smoking the weed from out of the Fragile album waiting to be entertained.
