The white house is dancing around holding any debates. Obviously it is not in their best interest to stand their candidate next to Kerry so they are doing whatever they can to avoid it. The first response would be to call him a coward and say that he's scared, but that would play right into their hands of lowered expectations. Then, when Bush does debate, his mediocres performance is translated into a victory.
So what does Kerry say?
Our President can't even decide if he will come debate me. I know why, he thinks he weasel his way out of these debates like he's weaseled his way out of everything else. He loves all the great benefits of being president, like going to Republican fundraisers where you have to sign your loyalty over to get in, but hates dealing with anything he finds tedious and boring. Well I'm sorry Mr. President, you don't owe these debates to me, you owe them to the American people. The most important election of our time and this president can't take the time to give the people a choice. I promise that I'll always give you a choice. I don't have all the answers, and you may not agree with me 100%, but I'll always be there for you. I promise you America, I, John Kerry, will be there on the three dates the commision has decided on. Mr. President, do you have enough respect for for our great country to show up?
