I see our last open thread was posted about twelve hours ago (right before Cheers and Jeers). I realize that there's plenty of stuff to say about Karl Rove and other Republicans, but some of us just need a break.
Today, here in the midwest, it is a HOT HOT day. Dewpoints are in the 70's, temperatures in the 90's, with the heat index right around 105.
The power company is cycling the air conditioning so we don't overload the grid, and it's about 85 in the house.
Do I blame global warming? no. just an arch(arc?) in the jet stream that sucks up all the gulf moisture.
It's a hot hot day in the blogosphere, what with Karl Rove's and Scotty McClellan's comments.
How about everyone take a break, grab their drink of choice (i know it's not rum and coke friday yet, but don't kill me), and turn discussion to other matters, like hot he hell did the yankees score 13 runs in an inning yesterday (or was it tuesday?), or how the Pistons are gonna get skool3d by the Spurs tonight.
