On June 24, 2004, special prosecutor Patrick J. Fitzgerald and several assistants questioned the president for about 70 minutes in the Oval Office. A White House spokesman declined to comment on the substance of the interview but said Bush, who was accompanied by a private lawyer, was not placed under oath.
Neither was Martha Stewart. I can't conceive Bush could answer questions for over an hour without making at least a couple of misrepresentations worthy of time in minimum security.
Damn it, a man can dream, can't he?
