This message is primarily to the Deaniacs out there:
While Howard Dean has appearantly ended his quest for the presidential nomination, it is important that we not lose any of you in the fight ahead of us. So many of you are first-time campaign workers and donators. Your spirit and enthusiasm and willingness to work and give has literally turned the Democratic party around. You've shown us the power of internet fundraising and collaboration. You've shown us that young people (and people who havent been involved before) CAN get involved and WANT to get involved.
So please, keep this simple fact in mind when deciding what to do next:
The voters in the primaries didnt like howard dean, but its appearant they loved what he contributed and they love YOU. its not that they didnt like his message or his people, but lets face it-- dean sort of tore himself down (with generous help from the media). do not be too dismayed-- the ideas and principles of the party and of getting rid of this worthless president rise above any one man or team. please, continue to give and be active in your local party clubs and candidates. we have a great chance to beat bush and take back at least one chamber of the Congress, but it CANNOT be done without your help.
