Maxomai suggested this in a thread below, and I agree. I decided to post it here so that the idea won't get lost. If Dean did a positive push-poll in NH, it would be great.
"If you knew that Dean had provided health care to 100% of Vermont's children, and 96% of the adults, would it make you have a more favorable or less favorable view of him?"
"If you knew that Dean had balanced 5 budgets in a row in Vermont, and left a large amount of $$ in a rainy-day fund, would it make you have a more favorable or less favorable view of him?"
etc. etc.
No one can criticize it, because it's positive, it's the truth, and it doesn't trash anybody.
The other benefit is that if you hear that e.g. Kerry is telling some sort of lie about Dean, you could add a question in the push poll that counters it.
