In a live interview just now on, you guessed it, KMBZ radio, Pat Roberts was asked if President Bush should meet with Cindy Sheehan. He replied with the latest spin, fresher than your morning coffee.
He replied by saying, "He already has met with her," and that it wouldn't change anything if he did. He went on to say, in a rambling single sentence, that:
- Grief is a terrible thing;
- He certainly feels for Ms. Sheehan;
but--and I quote:
"You have to look at who's financing whatever."
So be warned, grief-stricken citizens, who've suffered losses in this war! You are entitled to only so much grief and so much self-advocacy before some shill like Roberts wonders who's financing your grief.
