We're damned if Laura approves, we're damned if she doesn't...

You have to wonder about the lack of respect in Laura and George Bush's marriage.

Here are a couple recent reports about Laura and George:

'...When Mr. Bush had key Republicans to the White House to discuss Iraq, he told them, "I will not withdraw, even if Laura and Barney are the only ones supporting me."'

This quote implies that maybe it would make a difference to George if Laura did NOT support him in something, but then we get this tidbit:

Laura Bush And Fmr. WH Chief Of Staff Card Urged The President To Replace Rumsfeld...

We all know that George did NOT replace Rumsfeld, so I guess George does NOT care what Laura thinks.

Maybe it's all about how Barney feels about things? If it's okay with Barney it's okay with George? Makes as much sense as anything...

  is that Laura and Barney are Bush's only constituency.  No wonder he thinks his poll numbers are high.

  to have Ms. Zannied out of her mind Stepford Wife making decisions.    She might be too drugged up to really do as much damage as George though.

  claiming that Laura Bush is any less evil than her husband, or that she disagrees with him on anything.  Same background, same lifestyle, with one exception: she's actually killed.
