GOP And NAMBLA Hard To Tell The Difference

Sat Sep 30, 2006 at 09:56:53 AM PDT

Are we finally are getting the true picture of "No Child Left Behind."
Boehner knew about it and did nothing. Hastert knew about it and when the story broke his office denied he knew anything about it, after Boehner spilled the beans and told reporters he had notified Hastert, Hastert's story changed.
Rep. Rodney Alexander (R-La.) who sponsored the page did nothing about it, he did nothing to protect the 15 year old he sent into the lions den. Thomas Reynolds (R-N.Y.), chairman of the House Republican campaign organization, the Associated Press reported. Alexander said he did not pursue the matter further because "his parents said they didn't want me to do anything." So his position is "blame the parents."
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) took the House floor last night to demand an investigation into the Foley matter. But Boehner headed her off, calling on the House to refer the matter to the ethics committee, which the House promptly voted unanimously to do. When Pelosi called for a recorded vote, to get a record of who approved of an investigation she was booed by republicans.

As a psychotherapist, I have a duty to report.  Why?  Because it's the right thing to do.  I wish other people had to abide by such strict guidelines in order to remain in their positions and in their roles as protectors of human beings.

Is totally of base and won't win us any independents. The pehophilia Catholic church scandle comparison is also off base as those kids were much younger and that wasn't done electronically. It's like when some of us compare Bush to Hitler. If you think that helps us than sorry, it only hurts us. I will go on record in saying NAMBLA is a worse organization than the Republican party. NAMBLA is an inherently evil organization that wants age of consents to be dropped to 12 years old or younger.

And don't give me the crap that I'm somehow saying what Foley did was excusable. What he did was wrong and potentially a serious crime (certainly a violation of trust equivelent to a teacher sleeping with a 16 year old student). This isn't scandle of the century people. It's not even a scandle until the media reports that Hassert and Boener knew about it, which it hasn't yet.

it has been widely reported that both boener and hastert knew about it. And btw I don't give a crap about independant voters. Go to my blog and look at the list of republican perverts posted there. I don't give a damn about being fair or nice or proper, does rove?

NAMBLA doesn't get elected to powerful political offices uner the banner of "family values."

I certainly agree with ForFreedom. I'll stipulate that certain sexual preferences are innate. I can understand that otherwise normal intelligent and articulate individuals would urgently wish to legitimise their sexual proclivities. You should read some of the 1980s post-rad-feminist writings on Sado-Masochism to get a glimmer of what I mean. If one is driven my overwhelming desires which are socially prohibited, it is a rational and understandable move to try to legitimise them. The arguments adduced in the attempt need not inherit this rationality. We don't have to agree or accept. For the record, as that seems to be necessary even here, I neither agree nor accept .

All this is but to " in more words than are really needed. I too will take honest creepy and disgusting over the Republican form, shrouded in the flag and hiding behind the cross of Jesus, as if <we> were the gorammed vampires.

[there is of course a huge and morally relevent difference between 12 and 16, but that is a subject for another day, and I hope someone more informed than YT]
