Last night my wife and I went to the Imholf Law Office in Santa Monica (Off 26th and Wilshire) to phone bank for Kerry...
We started by calling Polk County, IOWA, population 250K, and found most people were undecided or voting for Bush.
I enjoyed doing something more than donating to help out, but with phone banking, it was difficult in that I couldn't get into discussions with people. Why support Bush? If you're undecided, what do you need to make up your mind? These were questions we couldn't ask...
Does anyone feel this way? Do you believe on one hand that phone banking is important, but at the same time also wish you could speak more openly to potential voters?
