Didn’t the SCOTUS rule that a sitting President could be sued in court? So what if some one from some state sued Bush for the wrongful death of National Guard person some one like a mother. Father, husband are wife,[
Article I Section 8 To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;
To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress; ]
Now Bush can not call on his Republican congress persons to save his ass. Maybe some state did not want Bush to appoint the officers that he did. So if he did not go through Congress to deploy the Guard he would be responsible for an unlawful death Charge. That should be more serous than a blow job.
