Something I'm sorry I missed is the National Conference for Media Reform that unfolded in Memphis over the past week.
Especially since the current imbroglio regarding KSFO/ABC/Disney is so illustrative of the corporate penetration and overrepresentation that characterizes the current media, I'm sure some pretty on-point and provacative topics were discussed.

Next, here's a story that includes this quote from the Chair of the soon to be formed Domestic Policy Subcommittee of the House Government Reform Committee, Dennis Kucinich. Kuc has been called a joke here and there, but to me, any joke that promises:
the committee is expected to focus its attention on issues such as net neutrality and major telecommunications mergers. Also in consideration is the "Fairness Doctrine," which required broadcasters to present controversial topics in a fair and honest manner.
