In Boston Globe (1/22/07), there was a pretty good front page article about a right wing activist who is doing a nice job of exposing Romney as the empty suite that he is (or RINO as stated in the article).
I and most people with any kind of a clue, don't agree with the activist in question on any issue presented in the article, in fact he seems to be a hateful intolerant SOB, who has been a pain here in the Boston area, but it is still nice to see the right-wingnuts eat their own. This will be a continuing story for Mitt until he drops his perfect head of hair out of the race.
The article is about Brian Camenker, who with a few volunteers
searched the Internet for material to disprove Romney's assertions that he is a conservative.
He
compiled into a 10,000-word dossier, "The Mitt Romney Deception."
Camenker e-mailed the report to six conservative activists and hopped a plane for Florida to see his mother for Thanksgiving. The activists forwarded the report to more activists. Within weeks, the report had reached thousands of conservative activists nationwide, sparked arguments on blogs, and been picked up by The Washington Times, National Review Online, and Fox News.
The effect
Some conservatives say Camenker's report, spiked with references to gay sex, has seriously damaged Romney's effort to woo conservative voters
The link is provided for those who want to read the rest of the story. I think the flip flopping will be a biggest issue for Romney (more than that he is a Mormon, which will drive away the Christian Right). But if nothing else, this shows that not even GOP, as desperate as it is, is going to be fooled by the empty suit that is Mitt Romney.
If Mitt does stumble and McCain "Surges" himself back into the Senate, that leaves only a few and very beatable candidates for the GOP in 2008.
Good News for All!
