This is an obituary published today in The Boston Globe titled:
"Michael Bramer, at 23; strove to cope after injury in Iraq"
It has all the sad elements we're used to by now: A young man enlists in the military to get money for school; he sustains a head injury and people back in the States don't realize the extent of his injury; he has terrible pain (with increasingly intensive migraines); and he thinks fondly of the time when he had his injury and his heart stopped and he had a feeling of peace. So, sadly, he killed himself.
