MetaJesus was resting comfortably at Hunter General Hospital after collapsing earlier today due to exhaustion. Medical units were able to get to him in time as he was able to reach for the phone before passing out.
When emergency medical personnel came and asked if he could hear what they were saying, all he could utter were the letters "O...P...O...L...O...P...O...L". However, he has been given fluids and should make a full recovery.
There were fears that his overworked schedule, especially the recent three week long marathon where he averaged 2 hours of broken sleep per night, due to the constant interruptions and the extreme increase in hot air. "At least with the pie fights, I was able to get some nutritional value from all the pie throwing. But please don’t tell OrangeClouds115 that I said that", MetaJesus joked earlier today.
A spokesperson for the MetaJesus Foundation said not to send flowers or any more fruit baskets, as there is already an overwhelming amount, and he is allergic to flowers anyway. "However," the spokesperson noted, "the highs and lows of the last few weeks, and the overworked schedule that MJ put in just wasn’t sustainable over the long term. From the nitpicking to the paranoia over conspiracies and copyright rules to the sudden aversion to any form of criticism to the ‘why can’t we all just get along’ he was teetering on the edge. Once the GBCW diaries started up again, it was just too much for any MetaDeity to handle."
When asked for comments, MetaJesus calmly stated that he wasn’t upset with anyone in particular for his suddenly overflowing workload, but he asked for calm and peace. "Fight the good fight", MetaJesus said, "but know who your enemy really is. And no, Big Tent Democrat is not your enemy."
Doctors will monitor MetaJesus’ progress over the next few days and hope to release him by the weekend. However, they did warn him to cut his workload by a considerable amount over the next few months. Knowing that primary season is just around the corner, he was advised to save his energy for the long hard slog that will certainly accompany the upcoming battle. Doctors also hope to not have to prescribe any medication other than some "good old fashioned rest and relaxation", although they did warn of a relapse if he jumped back in too quickly.
Ironically, doctors did say that there were some of his clients that would be better served if they took some "chill pills".
Let us all send our well wishes to MetaJesus and remember his frail nature when he becomes too overworked. May he have a speedy and full recovery.
