Senator Boxer, with all due respect, I know you do actually have shame (when it is called for), but I know that if I had titled this, "Senator Lieberman, have you no shame?" then it would have been a completely futile diary since Lieberman doesn't care what people at Daily Kos think, let alone participate here the way a good senator like yourself does, (let alone have shame). So, Senator Boxer, would you please read the following SUPERB diary that outlines all the scope and depth of Bush's transience and gross criminal negligence pertaining to Hurricane Katrina. Then print it out and march over to Joe's office and tell him you're not leaving until he reads the entire thing in your presence and then writes up whatever he needs to get those Katrina hearings in full gear the way any person with a conscience would do if it was within their authority.

Howard Dean said that the power is in the hands of the people, but that's specious and we all know it since none of the people at Daily Kos can excercise the same leverage that you can Senator Boxer. I am simply writing this now because I came accross the following account in my records and of course couldn't help to become...emboldened to light a fire wherever I thought it could help.
